WWW – Wednesday, 26 August, 2020

Many of the book bloggers I follow are doing this fun thing every Wednesday, an idea taken back by Taking On a World of Words, which I really like. It is a simple concept, and one that will/should change every week as far as the content is concerned.

What are those WWW?

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

My current reads

Because I have the amount of focus of a goldfish, it’s impossible for me to concentrate on the Jason Kasper thriller I’m supposed to be reading until I have had a decent amount of sleep (I’ll get back to it). So I’m currently rereading A Most Wonderful Midlife Crisis, because I need to relax my brain and this book is so, so good!!

And while I crochet, for the little time I can devote to it at present, I am continuing my listening of Michelle M. Pillow’s Kisses & Curses.

A book I recently finished

I simply couldn’t resist. It helps that I must finish the seven books before next week. So I read Three’s a Charm, and I warn you: you can’t read that in public because I almost weed myself laughing at all the peen jokes and puns and more of what happened. But that is such a good, funny book! I will never recommend Robyn Peterman’s Magic & Mayhem series enough. Laughter guaranteed!

What am I reading next?

That is the book I was supposed to read this week. However, because of my focus issues, I will binge it over the weekend. Because this next Jason Kasper thriller, Her Dark Silence, is coming out next Monday, and you will then have the book’s complete (and spoiler free) review the moment it hits the Amazon shelves. All I know is that it is a bit scary and from the comments I’ve read from other review readers, it is Jason’s best book yet (and the Maker knows that all his books are awesome).
