WWW – Wednesday, 30 September, 2020

Many of the book bloggers I follow are doing this fun thing every Wednesday, an idea taken back by Taking On a World of Words, which I really like. It is a simple concept, and one that will/should change every week as far as the content is concerned.

What are those WWW?

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

My current reads

Forgetting that I had a pre-ordered book releasing made for a wonderful surprise on Monday morning, when I saw that Darynda Jones’s Bewitched had “magically” appeared in my Kindle! Since I didn’t know what exactly to read this week, that dilemma was solved, and I am now getting fully reacquainted with Defiance Dayne and the gang… and Roane, of course!

It is still impossible for me to continue listening to Michelle M. Pillow’s Kisses & Curses. I admit, this whole shoulder situation is making me extremely down because that’s my audiobook time and the crochet is my relaxing time in the evenings, which is something that I sorely need when I’m swamped with work, like now.

A book I recently finished

It took me the weekend to read Any Luck At All, by A.R. Casella and Denise Grover Swank. A lovely read, a nice first in the series, and a heartwarming love story, whose review you can read here.

What am I reading next?

This is the time when I must finish what I’ve started and I admit, I want to know how David Rivers’ story continues. In other words, it’s high time for me to complete my reading of Jason Kasper’s Dark Redemption, and then move on to the next book in this fantastic series.
