A short short real life story
This is me, avid reader, having spent half the night awake, finishing this book because I simply couldn’t put it down. I know, I have to get up at 4:30 in the morning to get to work. I know, my job necessitates a great deal of patience and energy, and the former is always a little tougher when I’m underslept. But I know that today’s school does have a good coffee shop nearby – thank the (coffee) Maker!
So here I am, after two cups of dark roast, with one for the road, still unsure if I should start on the next book now, but having to because I hate being on the bus with my eyes not on the pages of my current read. But my attention roams back to that awesome book I’d finished overnight.
Thank the (coffee) Maker for the beans of joy!
The end
This real life story (I’m a real sub teacher and this really is some mornings I’ve had in the last eight years) that came to my mind after reading this quote shared by Michelle M. Pillow:

If authors “get a kickback from the caffeine industry”, we readers do, too, thank the (coffee) Maker!
