WWW – Wednesday, 5 August, 2020

Many of the book bloggers I follow are doing this fun thing every Wednesday, an idea taken back by Taking On a World of Words, which I really like. It is a simple concept, and one that will/should change every week as far as the content is concerned.

What are those WWW?

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

My current read

This was a long overdue first read by an author I’ve heard a lot of good about. Renee George is a friend of Robyn Peterman’s and they share that hilarious, laugh-out-loud type of books. So while I need to regroup and get my brain back together, I decided to give it a go and start the Witchin’ Impossible series. After all, there is a squirrel familiar in there!

A book I recently finished

Talking about long overdue, I still hadn’t read the second of Elizabeth Hunter’s Glimmer Lake books, despite having pre-ordered it and, thus, having it in my Kindle since the moment it came out.

My bad and my loss, because if I liked Suddenly Psychic (the link is to my review), I liked Semi-Psychic Life even more! Full review to come tomorrow.

What am I reading next?

It seems like “long overdue” is the theme for me this week, from my previous to my current to my next. This time, with the third David Rivers book, Dark Redemption, since I want to finish the series before the month is over. The only problem I have is that I often finish reading a book in the late evening (or in the middle of the night) and I know that the moment I start that book, I’m screwed (or my sleep is, at least).

Because in this case, it really has nothing to do with those awesomely good books, but more with when I start them. Because it’s a great series!
